Collab Accounting is a Sydney-based accounting firm with strong roots in Australia and a dynamic operations hub in Ahmedabad. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to lead our Australian Bookkeeping and BAS Division in India. This is a key leadership position with high visibility, impact, and ownership from day one.
Key Responsibility:
1. Lead and manage the entire Australian bookkeeping division from Ahmedabad.
2. Supervise and mentor a team of 20+ bookkeepers and junior accountants.
3. Oversee bookkeeping operations, payroll, BAS/IAS lodgements, and reconciliations.
4. Review client deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
5. Coordinate with Sydney partners and clients for quality assurance and satisfaction.
6. Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiency.
7. Scale and structure the team for long-term success.
Candidate Requirements:
1. 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Australian bookkeeping and accounting.
2. Strong knowledge of Australian GST, BAS/IAS , and payroll standards.
3. Proven leadership experience managing mid to large-sized teams.
4. Detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
6. Passionate about leading, mentoring, and building high-performing teams.
