Your Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst, FP&A - Investment to join our high‑performing Investment Finance team in Sydney.
This role partners closely with Fund Analysts, Asset Management, Development Finance and Group FP&A, contributing to accurate forecasting, insightful performance reporting and robust investment analytics across Mirvac’s Investment portfolio.
You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality monthly and quarterly reporting, applying strong analytical thinking to uncover trends, risks and opportunities that support informed decision‑making by senior stakeholders.
This is a 15-month max term contract.
Your Responsibilities
Prepare and consolidate Investment monthly forecast reporting with latest forecast number which covers NOI, capex, incentives, cashflow, balance sheet drives as well as operational metrics. Provides variance analysis and insightful commentaries to support decision making.
Collaborate effectively with Fund analysts to complete Investment monthly reporting pack on different sectors.
Support quarterly forecast process, ensure dataflow accuracy and alignment between MRI IM/Anaplan/BI, troubleshoot issues promptly and maintain governance. Assist in the preparation of well‑structured financial insights and PowerPoint presentations for senior stakeholders.
Assist in preparation of half year/ full year Investment analysis.
Ability to apply analytical thinking to identify trends, risks and opportunities when performing variances analysis.
Assist Senior Manager with any ad-hoc queries or tasks.
Enhance reporting efficiency through process optimisation, automation and standardisation using Excel, Power BI and other analytical tools.
Your Point of Difference
To be successful, you will bring:
3+ years’ experience in FP&A, management accounting, investment analytics or commercial finance, ideally within property, funds management or real assets
Strong accounting fundamentals, with a management or financial accounting background
CA or CPA qualification (completed or near completion)
Advanced Excel capability and experience with BI tools; Anaplan experience is advantageous
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
A continuous improvement mindset and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach
