Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Android Developer with 3-5 years of experience to take ownership of the Android application development process. As an Android Developer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications, ensuring they perform seamlessly and provide an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality Android applications.
• Design and implement new features and functionality for Android applications.
• Maintain and improve existing Android apps to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and usability.
• Identify and address bugs, bottlenecks, and other performance issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Develop and implement unit and UI tests to ensure application stability.
• Collaborate with the QA team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Support and mentor junior developers when necessary.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Android Developer with 3-5 years of hands-on Android app development.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Proficiency in Android Studio and related development tools.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Experience with Android architecture components, such as LiveData, ViewModel, and Room.
• Understanding of Material Design principles and Android user interface guidelines.
• Solid understanding of mobile application development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• A passion for keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development.
Preferred:
• Experience with app deployment on Google Play Store.
• Knowledge of other mobile development platforms, such as iOS, is a plus.
