Responsibilities:
• Assign accurate ICD-10 and CPT codes for Pain Block and anesthesia procedures.
• Ensure compliance with medical coding standards and billing regulations.
• Review medical records and documentation for precise coding.
• Work with the billing and audit teams to resolve coding-related issues.
• Stay updated on coding changes, industry trends, and best practices.
• Assist in denial management and appeals related to anesthesia coding.
• Ensure timely and error-free claim submissions.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Pain Block coding.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
