Objective:
The Anti-Human Trafficking Project Manager will be responsible for developing a comprehensive anti-human trafficking strategy, training and toolkit for member Friendship Centres.
Key Deliverables:
Develop a comprehensive trauma-informed, culture-based, victim and survivor-based anti-human trafficking, strategy and toolkit that all Friendship Centre staff can use when supporting a victim (or suspected victim) of human trafficking.
Create and co-deliver training sessions for the Friendship Centres on how to use the toolkit and understand the signs of human trafficking.
Develop final project report and evaluation on the strategy, training and toolkit, that includes Friendship Centre Anti-HT Program Model options.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning, Design and Development (40%):
Lead engagement with member Friendship Centres across Ontario as it relates to Friendship Centre Movement (FCM) anti-human trafficking strategy, training and toolkit development.
Develop and lead a communication strategy for the Friendship Centres to share best anti-human trafficking practices.
Coordinate and co-deliver training sessions on the anti-human trafficking toolkit for the Friendship Centres.
Develop anti-HT program model options informed by engagement with Friendship Centres.
Lead the coordination of all anti-HT related OFIFC initiatives
Project Research, Analysis and Advocacy (30%):
Conduct landscape reviews, research and jurisdictional analysis’ provincial and federal anti-human trafficking initiatives.
Support the development of OFIFC policy and program anti-human trafficking positions
Develop evaluation metrics of project and implement evaluation activities
Develop final project report
Relationships/Partnerships/Support (30%):
Establish and coordinate Friendship Centre Community of Practice (CoP) on Anti-HT.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with both governmental and non-governmental stakeholders to advance Friendship Centre anti-HT priorities.
Develop strong working relationships across the OFIFC, specifically the Program and Policy & Learning Teams
Education/Work Experience:
Post-secondary education in Public Policy, Political Science, Indigenous Studies, Sociology/Criminology, or another relevant discipline(s).
2-3 years experience with project and/or program management.
Previous experience working within urban Indigenous communities.
Preference will be given to candidates who are Indigenous, to ensure policies and program recommendations are developed with an Indigenous perspective. Additionally, lived experience as a survivor of crime is an asset.

Knowledge of Ontario not-for-profit Governance, Board, Bylaws, relevant legislation.
Strong understanding of public policy, government process, Indigenous service needs and providers as it relates to Friendship Centres and service delivery providers.
Ability to provide facilitation and public presentations.
In-depth knowledge of urban Indigenous community needs, solutions, trends, and gaps.
Sector-specific knowledge including anti-human trafficking program and policy landscape, emerging trends and issues, key stakeholders and partners.
Exceptional knowledge of fiscal management (budgets, program expenditures, etc.)

Hiring Range: $80,000 - $84,400
Full Pay Range: $80,000 - $+8,000
