Job Title: APIGEE Platform Developer
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced APIGEE platform developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience deploying and managing APIGEE Hybrid runtime on Kubernetes clusters, automating infrastructure with Terraform, and managing Kubernetes applications using Helm charts.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage APIGEE Hybrid runtime plane on Kubernetes clusters (GKE, AKS, or on-prem Kubernetes).
Perform installation, upgrades, patching, and maintenance of APIGEE Hybrid and APIGEE X environments.
Manage APIGEE runtime components including Message Processors, Synchronizers, and Cassandra clusters within Kubernetes.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Terraform and Helm charts.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash/Shell and Python to streamline deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
Collaborate with API teams to support API proxy deployments, troubleshoot runtime issues, and optimize platform performance.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for APIGEE platform deployments and API lifecycle management.
Monitor platform health, capacity planning, and perform troubleshooting for runtime and infrastructure issues.
Work closely with network, security, and cloud teams to configure secure and compliant environments.
Support multi-cloud and hybrid cloud deployment strategies, ensuring seamless integration and governance.
Document platform architecture, operational procedures, and automation workflows.
Requirements:
Hands-on experience with APIGEE Hybrid runtime deployment, Kubernetes clusters, and Terraform.
Proficiency in scripting with Bash/Shell and Python, along with solid Google Cloud Platform (GCP) knowledge.
Experience with Helm charts, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with API design principles, API security, and API performance optimization.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
