As a designer for Apparel, you will use advanced digital skills to facilitate the creation of 3D products that appropriately reflect the design philosophy and standards. Your skills will provide industry-leading apparel simulation, ideation, photorealistic and sketch rendering, animation, and digital presentation. You will drive digital creation from ideation through commercialization and act as the digital supervisor and product designer, providing technical expertise and tactical support.
This position will provide the opportunity to continually grow your knowledge of digital creation tools and processes and stay current with industry digital creation innovations and standards. Further, you will demonstrate expert understanding of the product development process and share this knowledge with team.
This role also requires the effective communication of complex concepts, digital creation tools, and processes to a variety of audiences. You thrive in ambiguous, collaborative environments, and bring creative and analytical thinking to the solutions you build.
Key job responsibilities We are looking for a dedicated 3D fashion designer who is eager to drive the direction of 3D contents within the fashion industry, while partnering with diverse cross-functional groups such as product management, software development, and UX design. As a 3D artist on the team:
Your responsibilities are but not limited to:
- You will provide the art direction for fashion products in 3D user experiences.
- You will explore different art directions, present them to stakeholders (product managers, UI/UX designers, technical artists, etc.), and drive consensus on the appropriate direction to take.
- You will create and maintain 3D contents used in real-time 3D user experiences.
- You will own end-to-end 3D content creation processes across modeling, texturing, rigging, animation and lighting.
- You will improve 3D content creation processes in partnership with technical artists, software engineers and garment designers.
- Require to create seamless prints and other types of prints in Adobe.
