What do you need to bring to the ‘pitch’:
Apparel Design Expertise:
• Ability to create detailed apparel mockups for collections with precision and style.
• Experience designing logos, graphics, and prints that align with brand identity.
• Skills in developing technical drawings, patterns, and seamless prints for production.
Trend Awareness & Research Skills:
• Stay ahead of fashion trends and consumer preferences.
• Translate market research insights into innovative design concepts.
Merchandising & Production Knowledge:
• Assist in sourcing fabrics, trims, and accessories.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely order delivery.
• Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and production-ready.
Creative Tools Proficiency:
• Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Photoshop, and Illustrator for vector designs, mockups, and image enhancements.
• Strong understanding of color theory, textile design, and garment construction.
Collaboration & Communication Skills:
• Work closely with marketing and production teams to align designs with brand strategy.
• Present design concepts and communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
Your Mission:
As a Junior Apparel Designer & Merchandiser, you’ll be at the forefront of CricHeroes' fashion initiatives. Your role will involve transforming creative ideas into designs that resonate with cricket fans worldwide. From concept to production, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the designs reflect our brand’s ethos and excite our users.
Who are we looking for?
• 1-2 years of experience in fashion design or merchandising.
• Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• A portfolio showcasing your work in apparel mockups, logos, and graphic designs.
• A keen eye for details, excellent time management, and the ability to visualize 3D designs.
• Basic knowledge of merchandising workflows and garment production.
