About:
India Today Fashions is a dynamic and innovative apparel manufacturing company known for delivering high-quality fashion products to clients worldwide. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive assistant to support our operations team in following up with merchandisers, fabric incharge, vendors, and accessories in charge.
Job Summary:
The Apparel Operations Assistant will play a vital role in coordinating and facilitating communication between various stakeholders involved in apparel production. This individual will be responsible for ensuring timely follow-ups, tracking progress, and facilitating smooth coordination among team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow up with merchandisers, fabric incharge, vendors, and accessories in charge to ensure that tasks are completed according to schedule.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and updates on ongoing projects.
Track production timelines and deadlines. identifying any potential delays or issues and alerting the relevant stakeholders.
Communicate regularly with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise during the production process.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all communications and follow-up activities.
Provide administrative support to the operations team as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and organizing documents.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
years of experience in a similar role within the apparel industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Knowledge of apparel production processes, supply chain management, and vendor relations.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data management and documentation.
