Job Overview:
We are seeking an Automation Engineer who has experience in Selenium/Java automation and manual testing experience in Appian Low Code Platform to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing Appian platform developed applications and automation of Appian platform developed and web applications.
Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ability to understand requirements and technical reference documents and be able to review and escalate any issues/gaps during the initial stage of the project
• Ability to write manual test cases for low code Appian applications to be tested
• Execute various types of tests for Appian application
• Ability to report test results to the leads and defect reporting
• Responsible for automating Appian applications
• Responsible for setting up the automation framework and environments required for successful completion of Automation
• Ability to write automation test scripts
• Responsible for fixing any issues on automation scripts
• Responsible for setting up CI/CD pipelines for different environments
• Ability to understand, troubleshoot and differentiate defects, data issues and requirement gaps
• Responsible for on-time delivery and timely escalations/update of risks, issues, status and exemptions to leadership
• Effective communication with the team, leadership, vendor partners, internal and external customers covering all aspects of team needs both onshore and offshore
