Summary:As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve working with Data Warehouse ETL Testing, Python, PySpark, and Pytest to ensure the quality and integrity of data sets.
Roles & Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts in Python and PySpark in a big data environment along with experience in performance testing.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.Create and execute test plans to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data sets.Develop and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data models.Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability. Professional & Technical Skills:-Strong experience in Data Warehouse ETL Testing. Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and Pytest.Expertise in JMeter, Selenium & Power BI for visualizing and analyzing data, aiding in the identification of data quality issues and anomaliesGood To Have Skills:Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud for testing within cloud-based data ecosystems.Hands-on experience with Databricks for data processing and testing.Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.Good Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL. Strong SQL skills to perform data validation and verification during testing.Familiarity with data modeling and schema design.Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
