Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Architecture Content Creator with a background in architecture or interior design who can produce engaging, high-quality educational content tailored for Instagram (@designopolis_). The ideal candidate will have experience creating video content on social platforms like Instagram or YouTube, with a knack for storytelling and audience engagement. Video editing skills are a strong bonus, and a passion for educating and inspiring others in the field of architecture is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop and produce engaging video content for our Instagram channel, focusing on architecture education, design inspiration, tips, and industry insights.
- Planning & Scripting: Research, script, and storyboard content that educates and captivates our audience while aligning with our brand voice and objectives.
- Filming & Production: Capture high-quality footage using appropriate equipment and settings, ensuring professional standards in lighting, sound, and composition.
- Video Editing: Edit and polish videos using industry-standard software, adding graphics, animations, and effects to enhance storytelling (if proficient).
- Engagement & Interaction: Collaborate with the social media team to optimize content for engagement, respond to audience comments, and integrate feedback to improve future content.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on social media trends, platform algorithms, and emerging content strategies to ensure our content remains relevant and impactful.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Designopolis team members, including designers, educators, and marketers, to create cohesive and informative content.
Qualifications:
- Background: A degree or equivalent experience in architecture, interior design, or a related field.
- Content Creation: Proven experience creating engaging video content on Instagram, YouTube, or similar platforms.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with video recording equipment, editing software, and basic graphic design tools. Video editing skills are a strong bonus.
- Storytelling: Strong ability to convey complex design concepts in an accessible, engaging manner.
- Social Media Savvy: Deep understanding of Instagram’s features, trends, and best practices for content creation and audience engagement.
- Creativity & Innovation: A creative mindset with a passion for exploring new ideas, formats, and techniques to captivate viewers.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Portfolio: A portfolio or reel showcasing your work on Instagram, YouTube, or other relevant platforms is highly desirable.
