This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join Metricon’s Studio team located in our Parkside office.

Reporting to the Studio M Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting & guiding customers through the home personalisation & selection process, including interior colours, finishes and fittings; kitchens and bathrooms; and street appeal and outdoor living
Customers will be a mixture of Knockdown Rebuild, Greenfield and Acerage projects
Maintain and constantly develop thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services and processes in order to confidently interact with customer; whilst exceeding customer satisfaction and sales targets
Develop effective relationships with key supply partners and actively promote their products
Confirming upgrade pricing with clients & estimating departments based on their selections
Administration duties such as filling out the colour selection documents, upgrade lists & final specification lists
Following up with clients on any queries and/or clarifications they have with their selections
Provide accurate, timely and detailed paperwork through to the Customer and Operations team; and
Foster a positive and focused culture where customer service and teamwork is paramount, you will work effectively within a team and help create a positive culture with a strong desire for success.

The successful candidate will have:
Diploma in Interior Design
Proven experience in an interior design residential selections role in Knock Down Rebuild, High End or Custom Homes
Understanding of new home construction, up to date with current colour schemes and styles
Ability to interpret residential building plans including marking up plans as required
Ability to interpret specifications of each particular home
Need to be able to calculate pricing upgrades for clients based on their selections
High attention to detail to ensure proper handover of colour file/documents to office staff
Customer service focused and passionate about assisting clients in selecting their home inclusions
Computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel); and
Able to fill out colour selections documents.
