Appointment Scheduler – Field Sales Associate (Commission-Based, Part-Time)
Location: Houston, TX (On-site Field Role)
Job Summary:
As an Appointment Scheduler, you’ll be our first point of contact with prospective customers in newly built neighborhoods, where homeowners are looking for window covering solutions. Your role is to interact with homeowners, introduce them to our products and services, explain current offers, and schedule qualified design consultation appointments (in-person or virtual) for our professional design consultants.
This is a field sales role that requires door-to-door outreach, making it ideal for someone who is confident, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with homeowners. It’s 100% commission-based, offering high weekly earning potential with flexible hours and a pathway to a full-time design consultant role.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Outreach & Lead Generation
Visit assigned new construction neighborhoods and model home communities
Conduct door-to-door customer interactions to identify homeowners in need of window coverings
Educate prospects about our company, product range (blinds, shades, shutters), and the value of our free design consultation service
Distribute brochures, flyers, and offer cards in a professional and brand-compliant manner
Appointment Scheduling
Qualify interested homeowners based on:
Stage of move-in
Budget and interest level
Availability for consultation
Schedule qualified appointments (in-home or virtual) using our scheduling tools
Capture detailed notes and customer preferences for handoff to design consultants
Performance Tracking & Follow-up
Maintain accurate records of visits, leads generated, and appointments scheduled
Track results and follow up with unconfirmed or reschedule requests
Report performance metrics to supervisor weekly
Compensation Structure (Commission-Based):
$25 per qualified appointment scheduled
Additional $15 bonus for each appointment that results in a closed sale
Earn up to $40 per design consultation
Weekly payouts via direct deposit
No cap on earnings — high-performing appointment setters can earn $300–$600+ per week
Work Schedule:
Part-time, flexible hours — typically evenings and weekends when homeowners are available
Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays
Schedule can be adapted around your academic calendar
Required Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older
Currently enrolled in a Houston-based college or university, preferably pursuing a degree in:
Marketing
Sales
Business Administration
Communications or a related field
Prior experience in door-to-door sales, event promotions, or lead generation preferred (not mandatory)
Must have reliable personal transportation to travel to assigned neighborhoods
Legally authorized to work in the USA

Polished appearance and ability to represent our brand professionally
Strong listening and qualifying skills
Comfortable with mobile apps and scheduling tools (training will be provided)
