Job Title: Architect
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Architect to join our team, working on both New Jersey and Florida projects. You will be responsible for producing full sets of construction drawings for new construction projects, managing junior-level staff, and coordinating with all engineering trades. You will oversee projects from inception through completion, ensuring compliance with building codes and conceptual understanding of multi-family/mixed-use projects.
Hard Skills
• 5+ years of architectural experience within construction drawing phase
• Full proficiency using REVIT
• Strong knowledge of building codes
• Ability to produce full sets of construction drawings
• Bachelor of Architecture; Registered Architect is a plus
• Experience with new construction and integrating into CD sets
• Experience with communicating with engineers, contractors, and clients
Soft Skills
• Ability to manage junior-level staff
• Strong understanding of multi-family/mixed-use projects
• Ability to work independently and collaborate as needed
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
Work Environment
Our team consists of + staff members, including principals with over 22 years of experience. The work environment is flexible with no set schedule. You will spend 70% of your time working independently and 30% collaborating. Our projects primarily include multi-family/mixed-use, residential single-family, and hospitality, with project lengths varying from 2 to 5 months. The role requires 5 days in the office, with flexible summer hours.
