Job Description
As an Architect/Interior Designer at P & H Designss, you will be at the forefront of creating captivating interior spaces that harmonize form and function, blending aesthetic beauty with practical utility. From conceptualization to execution, you will leverage your creative flair and technical expertise to deliver exceptional interior design solutions that exceed client expectations and elevate the human experience.
Responsibilities:
Concept Development and Mood Board Creation: Participate in concept development sessions, collaborating with clients and colleagues to conceptualize interior design themes and aesthetics. Create mood boards and design presentations to communicate design concepts effectively.
Space Planning and Furniture Layout: Conduct thorough space planning and furniture layout design, optimizing spatial flow, functionality, and ergonomics while reflecting the desired ambiance and style.
Material and Finishes Selection: Source and select appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, fixtures, and accessories that align with the design concept, budgetary constraints, and project requirements. Coordinate sample procurement and presentations for client approval.
3D Visualization and Rendering: Develop 3D visualizations and renderings of interior spaces using software tools such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Blender, providing clients with realistic depictions of design proposals for review and feedback.
Detailing and Specification: Prepare detailed interior design drawings, plans, and specifications, including millwork details, lighting layouts, and decorative elements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to procure materials, furnishings, and services, facilitating seamless project execution and timely delivery.
Client Collaboration and Communication: Maintain open and proactive communication with clients throughout the design process, soliciting feedback, addressing concerns, and managing expectations to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
Proven experience in interior design, with a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects and design styles.
Proficiency in interior design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
Strong knowledge of interior design principles, materials, finishes, furnishings, and construction techniques.
Excellent creativity, conceptualization, and visualization skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Effective communication, collaboration, and presentation abilities, with the capacity to articulate design concepts clearly and persuasively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
