Job Description
Must have a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field, plus two (2) years of design experience (non-intern, non-fellowship) with all of the following:
(1) Translating sketches and documents into realized 2D/3D models and images using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, parametric design software, 2D/3D software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Grasshopper, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, InDesign, Bluebeam Revu and Rhino utilizing V-Ray, and Enscape;
(2) Utilizing site surveys, design sketches and other inputs to prepare digital architectural models using Revit and/or CAD based on BIM development standards;
(3) Construction Administration experience for education projects and working knowledge of materials, building construction techniques and structures, building codes and standards;
(4) Participating in all project phases of education projects, including conceptual designs, graphic presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents: delivering concept and schematic design package, which includes site analysis, design concept and narrative, sustainability simulation tests, floor plans, sections, elevations and photo-realistic renderings; documenting construction drawings and details for construction documentation phase;
(5) Façade development (product and material specification), and entrance and circulation strategy for education projects;
(6) Performing environmental analysis to understand the daylighting and lighting required for the mixed-use space planning; AND
(7) Facilitating multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with general contractor, structural, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), lighting, façade, audio/visual, acoustics, interiors, wind, landscape, civil consultants, and working directly with other consultants and/or contractors.
In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, Interior Design or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive post-bachelor’s degree design experience (non-intern, non-fellowship). Two (2) years of the five (5) years of progressive post-bachelor’s degree design experience (non-intern, non-fellowship) must include experience with all of the following:

Must be a licensed Architect in the State of California. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Incidental telecommuting may apply.
The base salary range is $88,712.00 to $88,712.00, commensurate with relevant experience. Standard benefits will be offered, and employees will be eligible for bonuses.
