Job Summary
We are a Miami-based general contracting firm specializing in high-end residential remodels and custom projects. Our work ranges from luxury single-family homes to condo renovations, with a strong focus on quality, detail, and client experience.
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our growing team and help lead projects from pre-construction through completion.
The Project Manager will oversee residential construction projects, coordinating trades, managing schedules, controlling costs, and ensuring high-quality execution. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsabilities
• Manage residential construction projects from start to finish
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project workflows
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work
• Track budgets, change orders, and project costs
• Conduct site visits and ensure quality control
• Coordinate inspections and permits
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, designers, and MODRN internal team
• Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and reports
• Oversee the planning, execution, and closing of residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards
• Lead project meetings to communicate updates, address issues proactively, and coordinate project teams efficiently
• Proven experience in residential construction management with a strong background in project coordination on-site
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in residential construction project management
• Experience with high-end residential or condo renovations preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
Requirements:
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) – Required
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work on-site and travel to multiple job locations in Miami-Dade
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore or similar is a plus)
• Experience with permitting and inspections in South Florida preferred
