Job Title: Architect – US Residential & Commercial Projects
Location: Baner, Pune

Reporting To: Senior Architect / Project Manager
Job Summary:
SCG is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mid-Level Architect with proven experience in delivering residential and commercial architectural projects for US clients, particularly those located on the West Coast (California, Oregon, Arizona, etc.). The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting design development, producing detailed construction documents, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring compliance with US building codes and project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and support the development of design and construction documentation for US residential and commercial projects.
· Interpret client requirements and translate them into functional architectural solutions.
· Prepare SD, DD, and CD sets using tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
· Ensure adherence to local (US) building codes, ADA standards, zoning regulations, and other applicable guidelines.
· Coordinate with structural, MEP, and landscape consultants for integrated project delivery.
· Communicate effectively with US-based clients, design teams, and stakeholders across time zones.
· Participate in design reviews and provide creative solutions during the design development process.
· Maintain high standards of quality control and meet deadlines consistently.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
· Minimum 4–8 years of architectural experience, with a significant portion working on US-based projects.
· Hands-on experience with residential (single-family and multi-family) and small to mid-scale commercial developments.
· Familiarity with California Building Code (CBC) and other West Coast-specific regulations is a strong plus.
· Proficiency in Revit is a must; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite is desirable.
· Good understanding of construction methods and detailing as per US standards.
· Strong communication and coordination skills, especially with remote clients or teams.
· LEED Accreditation or familiarity with sustainable design practices is an added advantage.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
