Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Architectural and Interior Designer with expertise in Revit to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about integrating new technologies and sustainable practices to develop innovative architectural solutions that minimize environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development: Create and develop architectural and interior design concepts using Revit, ensuring alignment with project goals and client requirements.
Sustainable Design: Implement sustainable design principles and practices to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance energy efficiency in all projects.
Technology Integration: Stay updated with the latest architectural technologies and software, incorporating them into design processes to improve efficiency and sustainability.
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and present design proposals that meet their expectations.
Documentation: Prepare detailed architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and documentation using Revit.
Qualifications:
Education: Post secondary degree/diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of +3 years of experience in Revit within architectural and interior design.
Certification or knowledge of Passive House construction and/or Passive House design is an asset.
Thorough knowledge of all building assemblies and the problem-solving skills required to make educated decisions to complete construction of those assemblies within project requirements and design intent
Be able to read and interpret all project documentation provided by the Project Manager, taking all requirements and limitations into consideration
Skills:
Proficiency in Revit and other design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and green building practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
LEED Accreditation or other relevant sustainability certifications.
Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other advanced architectural technologies.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Salary:
$55,000.00-$65,000.00
