NET-A-PORTER are now seeking a talented Art Director to join the team. This role leads the Art Direction and Design Direction across all Net-A-Porter brand communications and creative outputs. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative, elevated concepts and visual strategies that shape the brand's creative expression both onsite and offsite. This includes brand campaigns, digital content, social, and seasonal activations. Working as part of the wider Art Direction and Creative Strategy team, you will ensure a cohesive, aspirational visual identity that reflects Net-A-Porter's luxury positioning and resonates with its global audience.

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
Lead the concepting and art direction across fashion, talent, beauty, still life, and video shoots ensuring all content is visually compelling, on-brand, diverse, and aligned with Net-A-Porter’s luxury positioning, delivered within agreed budgets.
Art direct seasonal brand campaigns, taking a 360°, multi-platform approach that spans digital, social, editorial, CRM, and media channels, maximising impact across touchpoints and tailoring creative to each platform’s specific context and audience.
Oversee art direction for organic social, leading a team of creatives. Review social creative concepts and design assets, ensuring alignment with brand tone, content strategy, and social performance KPIs.
Drive the digital and social creative output (onsite, app, organic and paid social), ensuring every asset is optimised for its platform and leverages best practices to maximise reach, engagement, and commercial performance.
Provide direction for brand events and activations, ensuring all physical and experiential touchpoints reflect Net-A-Porter’s visual identity, storytelling, and luxury positioning across every detail.
Shape and evolve the Net-A-Porter visual brand identity, ensuring consistency and cohesion across all creative expressions, from institutional branding and on-site experiences to campaign storytelling and high-impact social content.
Develop innovative creative strategies for paid social, delivering best-in-class executions through stills, video, motion, and storytelling formats that increase brand awareness and drive conversion.
Build and nurture a strong creative network of photographers, filmmakers, illustrators, designers, and agencies, championing partnerships with bold, emerging talent who reflect the brand’s aesthetic and values.
Stay attuned to cultural and creative trends across fashion, design, art, media, gaming, and tech, with a particular focus on emerging opportunities within the digital and social space.
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across fashion, editorial, content, marketing, social, paid media, UX, shoot production, CRM, and trading, leading the creative development process from brief through to execution.
Ensure creative excellence across all output, reviewing work for visual quality, brand alignment, and technical accuracy while guiding and mentoring the creative team to continuously push creative boundaries.
Oversee planning and delivery of all creative projects, working closely with Production and Project Management to allocate resources effectively and meet deadlines.
Foster a high-performing team culture, conducting regular performance reviews, identifying development needs, mentoring talent, and ensuring team structure and succession planning support long-term business goals.
The type of person we are looking for:
Proven depth of experience in commissioning and directing photography, design and moving image in an e-commerce luxury space
Highly proficient in design, UX language, typography, video and motion, using Adobe Suite and Figma
Extensive relevant experience in women’s luxury fashion
Experience within a multi-brand and/or e-commerce environment
Extensive experience working for a global brand, understanding of different market needs
Existing relationships with relevant photographers/directors/stylists etc
Proven management experience
Excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills
Breadth of experience in creating visuals for digital and social executions, special projects, 360 campaigns, especially for paid and organic media channels
Detail orientated and extremely well organized
Positive, collaborative, and solutions-focused, with a strong ability to build trust, energise teams, and foster a supportive creative culture
