Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring under supervision
Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed
Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being
Assist with transfers and heavy lifting to ensure client safety
Support clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments through specialized caregiving techniques
Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
Follow all safety protocols and health guidelines to prevent infection and ensure client safety
Requirements
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care is preferred
Knowledge of patient care, caregiving practices, and medication administration
Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or dementia-related needs
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility support
Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed
Must pass background checks and adhere to health and safety regulations
