Asphalt Driver/Operator

We have the opportunity for positive, motivated and hard-working individuals to join our Asphalt Paving and Surfacing whanau as an Asphalt Driver/Operator. The role will involve transporting asphalt and milling materials to and from job sites, supporting our paving and milling teams with timely and safe deliveries and you may be required to assist the crew with labour-related tasks and operate other items of plant when needed. This is a full-time position that may include weekend work. The role is predominantly nightshift, and allowances are paid to reflect this.

About you:
Our ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience:
Minimum Class 4 license required. Class 5 preferred or essential.
Experience operating truck and trailer combinations
Experience transporting plant and equipment
Asphalt paving experience advantageous but not essential
A positive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills
Self-motivation and a drive to succeed
