Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Accountant located in Wadala East, Mumbai.
We are hiring an Assistant Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting tasks and maintain accurate financial records. The role involves supporting transactions, reporting, and compliance activities. Candidates should have basic accounting knowledge, familiarity with Tally Prime, and good communication skills.
Responsibilities
· Manage all financial transactions in Tally Prime (sales, purchases, expenses) with accurate categorization.
· Maintain records, reconcile bank statements, and ensure timely invoicing, receivables, and payables.
· Handle GST, TDS compliance, and coordinate with auditors for filings and audits.
· Process payroll including salary, deductions, and taxes.
· Prepare financial reports in Excel for management review and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications:
· 1 - 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
· Exposure in Tally Prime and Excel.
· Effective written and spoken communication skills in English.
Renumeration: INR 22,000 - 25,000 per month
