Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Accountant for our prestigious Jewellery Store. This role will be pivotal in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles, outstanding numeracy skills, and a meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Manage all day-to-day accounting operations including: Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
Monitor and reconcile all financial transactions for accuracy.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Prepare financial statements and regulatory reporting documents.
Analyze and report on financial performance, including profitability of individual items and overall store performance.
Coordinate and complete annual audits.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an accountant, preferably within a retail setting. Experience in a jewellery store would be an added advantage.
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
Proficiency in managing and analyzing large amounts of data.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
An ability to solve problems and think critically.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Salary: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
