Assistant Accountant
Velure is a leading nightwear brand in India, based in Mumbai. We are looking for an assistant accountant to join our finance team and support our accounting operations.
As an assistant accountant, you will be responsible for:
• Preparing and maintaining financial records, such as invoices, bills, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Processing payroll and tax returns for the company and its employees.
• Assisting the senior accountant with budgeting, auditing, and reporting activities.
• Using Tally software to record and analyze financial data.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Tally software and MS Excel.
• Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or auditing.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
