Job Description
What you'll be doing
Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processing.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements and cash flow forecasts.
Collaborate with senior management to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Providing general accounting tasks as required and support the Finance Manager and other members of the Finance team as needed.
Responsibility for BAS and other tax-related filings. Ensure the group is compliant in all statutory requirements.
Communicating with customers and internal teams to resolve any issues or queries and prepare any necessary documentation and collaborate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
Assisting with compliance with Internal Controls.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring they are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
What we're looking for
Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar capacity
Proficiency in accounting software XERO, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
A genuine interest in contributing to the success of an organization with a strong social purpose.
