THE OPPORTUNITY

You will support the Nursery finance team by maintaining financial records, processing accounts payable, invoice reconciliation, month-end/year-end tasks, inventory management, and assisting with accurate financial reporting.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Maintain and report financial documents, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Assist with invoice coding, reconciliation, accounts receivable, and accounts payable using SAP.
Assist with reconciling invoices for labour hire, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contractual agreements.
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely journal entries and reconciliations.
Participate in inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, record monthly stock movements, and ensure accurate data entry in the system.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To be considered for this role, applicants will need to demonstrate capabilities in the following:
Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting is essential
Previous experience in a similar role within manufacturing and/or horticulture environment is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and with some exposure to SAP and BI tools
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines
Strong verbal communication skills and able to work well with all levels of business stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Effective in cross-functional team collaboration
A demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and fostering a positive team culture.
Valid, unrestricted Australian working rights
