What You'll Be Doing: This is hands on, front row, real impact accounting.
Core Accounting Foundations (You’ll Own These)
Month-end journals & reconciliations
General ledger accuracy & fixed asset register maintenance
Clean, reliable financial data
Bank & balance sheet reconciliation
Reporting & Commercial Exposure
Monthly reporting & P&L involvement
Supporting management accounts
Maintaining & enhancing reporting templates
Contract & commercial terms review support
Broader Finance Experience (The Stuff Most Juniors Never Get)
Supporting audit preparation & external auditors
Helping prepare budgets & forecasts
Business partnering with project managers & senior leaders
AP, AR, payroll & collections support when required
Contributing to system upgrades & new application rollouts
Supporting the integration of acquired businesses
Driving continuous improvement across finance processes
Every month, you add new skills.
Every quarter, your capability jumps.

What You Bring
Exceptional attention to detail (nonnegotiable)
Accounting degree + 1–2 years’ experience
Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, lookups)
Confidence working with financial data & P&L
Clear communication — written & verbal
Curiosity, initiative and a growth mindset
The drive to understand the “why” behind the numbers
A collaborative approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves
