Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team in Trichy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices, particularly in IT filing, GST filing, and TDS filing. The Assistant Accountant will support the financial team by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
• Manage and ensure timely filing of Income Tax returns and related documents.
• Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and timely filing of returns.
• Assist in processing invoices, payments, and reconciling accounts.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare financial statements and reports as required by the management.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
• Support the maintenance of the general ledger and ensure accuracy in account coding.

Requirements Essential Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with specific experience in IT filing, GST filing, and TDS filing.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
