Job Title/Designation: Assistant and Associate Professor, School of Agriculture, Nirwan University, Jaipur, Rajasthan
Job Description:
The responsibilities for this position will include some or all the following:
Teaching: Facilitate student learning through research led teaching and effective instructions by developing course curriculum, course handouts, lectures, labs and presentations as per ICAR/UGC guidelines. Performance evaluations of student’s learning for all assigned classes using standard course outlines for each course’s as a guide and play a significant role in reviewing of modules and programs as per the course guideline. Develop innovative approaches to learning and teaching i.e. through presentation, demonstrations, and tutorials. Regular reporting to competent authority about its compliance.
Research & partnership activities: To publish research papers with journals of repute with high impact factor, encourage and develop the innovative research activity in the UG & PG courses. Motivate the students to participate in various extra-curricular skilled programs, conferences and workshops.
Connect with industry and govt. /non-govt. institutions to foster research/collaborations partnership & sign MOUs.
Student Advising: To be available to the students via email, phone, or personal conferences. The method of contact and hours of availability should be communicated to the office of the students. Act as a personal tutor for students, support them in maximizing the benefit of their time in Nirwan University and motivate them for the building of their career.
Administration: To participate in departmental and faculty meetings, in addition to it they have to involve in all academic and research activities of the department along with other responsibility assigned to them.
Expected Candidature:
A candidate should have Ph.D./ Master’s degree in Agronomy (M.Sc + NET) with First class, Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate branch of Agriculture, with an exemplary academic record throughout.
Experience - Minimum 1-5 Year Experience
