Total remuneration package $263,098 - $287,201
About the role:
The Assistant Commissioner sets the strategic direction and leads the planning and delivery for FRNSW Regional Operations. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the role is accountable for the day-to-day service delivery of Regional Operations including the delivery of prevention, fire suppression, hazmat, rescue and emergency services to industry and the community.
About you:
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Operational experience and expertise within an emergency services environment
Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues, challenges and approaches to emergency service
Exceptional leadership capability and presence
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Demonstrated financial acumen
Essential Requirements:
Post graduate tertiary qualification and/or significant professional experience in the discipline
Emergency management qualifications to enable fulfilment of legislative requirements of the role
