The Assistant Controller will be responsible for managing our accounting team, and overseeing all day-to-day accounting operations for the company. The Assistant Controller should have 5+ years of experience with month/year-end close, financial reporting, audit prep, and ERP.
CPA is required for this position.

Job Details
Responsibilities
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Overseeing all day-to-day accounting operations, including financial reporting, bank reconciliations, audit prep, GL, as well as special projects.
• Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
• Preparing for audits and coordinating with the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborating with the VP of Finance to improve accounting and financial forecasting procedures.
• Assisting in the development and management of budgets and forecasts.
• Ensuring compliance with all internal policies and relevant regulations, and staying up-to-date on industry news.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with strong hands-on skills in month-end closing,
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proven experience in managing ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
