At LHH, we are currently seeking an Assistant Controller to join a team in Roseville, MN. This position is responsible for supporting the entire accounting function for multiple locations to include monthly financial reporting and forecasting. You will have three direct reports (Staff and Senior Accountants) and will report to the Corporate Controller.
We are looking for someone who likes to lead and likes to have their hands in things not just review. They have and will continue to have a lot of M+A activity. CPA a big want but not required.
Responsibilities
• Manages entire general ledger and assures that monthly deadlines are met
• Create financial statements
• Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations
• Own monthly close and consolidation process
• Coordinate annual audit
• Help with development and creation of new policies and procedures
• Drive new initiatives, automation of tasks and building efficiencies
• Work closely with Corporate Controller, FP&A team and other business partners across the country
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field required
• Four or more years of experience in accounting
• At least two years of leadership
• Public Accounting highly desired
• CPA or MBA preferred
• Strong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills
