Job Title: Assistant Controller / Senior Accountant
Location: Gurgaon
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 3–5 years
Reports To: Controller / Director of the Company
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Controller / Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting background with hands-on experience in monthly close, reconciliations, and external audits. A strong command of Sage Intacct and advanced Excel skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and execute the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Oversee and maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Act as a key contributor during external audits, providing required documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
• Utilize Sage Intacct for financial reporting, transaction processing, and system enhancements.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Assist in implementing internal controls and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and financial objectives.
• Produce ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role (Assistant Controller or Senior Accountant).
• 5+ years of experience supporting external audit processes.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Sage Intacct.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
