Role Description
This is a hybrid role for an Assistant Event Planner, requiring a combination of on-site responsibilities in Perth, WA, and remote work. The Assistant Event Planner will be tasked with providing support in organising and coordinating a variety of events such as weddings, corporate experiences, and private celebrations. Daily responsibilities include assisting in planning and managing event schedules, coordinating vendor relationships, supporting budgeting efforts, and ensuring flawless execution of events. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a flair for delivering high-quality client experiences.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
Experience in event planning and event management, including the ability to manage timelines and coordinate logistics.
Proficiency in budgeting and financial planning for events to ensure all aspects remain within allocated resources.
Exceptional organisational skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing office work, remote tasks, and on-site event responsibilities in Perth, WA.
Familiarity with the events industry or prior experience in hospitality or event coordination is a plus.
A bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is advantageous but not required.
Must have a laptop, phone, drivers license & transport.
