• Position: Assistant Fashion Designer
• Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and design of women's wear collections.
- Collaborate with the lead designer in researching fashion trends and creating mood boards.
- Help in selecting fabrics, colors, prints, and trims for new collections.
- Create initial sketches and designs for approval and adaptation.
- Assist in overseeing the production process, ensuring designs are executed accurately.
- Work with the marketing team to provide creative input for campaigns and photoshoots.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for sourcing materials.
- Participate in fittings and make necessary adjustments to designs.
• Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in women's apparel.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
- Proficient in fashion design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Excellent understanding of garment construction and fabric behavior.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
