Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our hospitality company as an Assistant HR Manager with a primary focus on talent acquisition. The Assistant HR Manager will be responsible for attracting and onboarding talented individuals at various levels within the organization, ranging from junior management to senior manager positions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in recruitment and onboarding, with experience in hiring for both blue-collar and senior management roles. The Assistant HR Manager will also serve as the first point of contact for employees, ensuring a positive employee experience and addressing any concerns or grievances that may arise.
Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition: Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates for positions ranging from junior management to senior manager levels. Develop and implement effective strategies to attract top talent, both internally and externally. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on best practices for candidate selection.
Onboarding and Joining Formalities: Facilitate the smooth onboarding of new employees, ensuring compliance with all necessary documentation and processes. Coordinate orientation programs and ensure that new employees have the necessary resources and support to integrate into their roles effectively. Conduct follow-ups to address any concerns or issues during the onboarding process.
Employee Engagement: Assist in organizing and implementing employee engagement activities across different units of the organization. Collaborate with various departments to plan and execute events, initiatives, and programs that foster a positive work environment and enhance employee morale. Actively participate in periodic visits to different units to assess employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, addressing their queries, concerns, and grievances in a timely and professional manner. Provide guidance and support to employees, ensuring fair and consistent resolution of issues. Escalate complex or unresolved matters to the relevant departments for further investigation and resolution.
Generalist Activities: Contribute to HR generalist activities as needed, including performance management, compensation and benefits administration, policy implementation, and employee development programs. Collaborate with the HR team to continuously improve HR processes and policies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on talent acquisition and onboarding.
Proven experience in recruitment for both junior management and senior manager positions, including blue-collar and senior management hiring, preferably within the hospitality or retail industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with candidates, employees, and stakeholders at all levels.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
Solid knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Proficiency in HRIS and recruitment software.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
