Overview
We are seeking a Full-time Assistant Management Accountant to join our accounts team. This position requires a strong understanding of financial management principles and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure the financial health of the organisation. The role would offer progression for the right candidate to become the Management Accountant.
We are happy to consider candidates who are QBE or a studier of CIMA/ACCA/ACA/ICAEW or similar who is at the later stages of study, however you must be able to demonstrate previous experience within an accounts department and be familiar with month-end reporting routines.
Within this role you will be responsible for:
Purchase ledger
Monitoring the accuracy of transactions
Bank reconciliations
Monitoring cash flow
Accruals and Prepayments
Assisting the Management Accountant in producing Monthly Management Accounts
Assisting financial department with administrative tasks
Skills required:
A minimum of 3 years experience working in an Accounts team
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
A strong understanding of accounting principles
Tax knowledge preferred but not necessary
An enthusiasm to learn
