Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Bangalore, India (at least 3 days working in the office per week)
Package: Salary from 8K – 12K Lakh maximum (level will be dependent on experience), plus strong company benefits
Leading technology business, with a blue-chip customer base are creating a brand-new position in their international finance function.
Working as the Assistant Management Accountant you will join our international Finance team as we expand our APAC region presence. You will be supporting the Financial Controller with all aspects of the management accounts in the APAC region as well as supporting worldwide activity.
The ideal candidate will have a good grounding and understanding of finance and be inquisitive to enhance and improve all processes and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. The role will include reporting and analyzing the numbers, journal entry, bank reconciliations, cash flow work and ad-hoc work from the Financial Controller as well as supporting AR and AP.
Key duties of the role include:
· Month End close
· Prepayments & Accruals & Inter-Company transactions
· Revenue & Cost calculations for various Service groups
· Preparation and entry of General Ledger journals
· Monthly Analysis of Over-Head spend vs Budget
· Preparation of online banking payments
· Raising sales invoices as required
· Assisting during the annual Audits
· Bank Reconciliations
· Additional ad hoc Reporting/Analysis
· Work with other teams to complete reporting and analysis
· Other duties as and when required
Experience Requirements:
· Proven experience in a similar role / experience
· Part qualified / Newly qualified with relevant accounting qualifications
· Good understanding of accounting skills
· Analytical, organised and methodical approach
· High level of numeracy and literacy
· Ability to work to strict deadlines
· Ability to work on own initiative and take ownership
· Good communication skills, written and spoken.
· Ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure
· Attention to detail
· Competent on excel and using formulas
· Strong English language skills - both written and oral
