Job Description
• Manage general accounting functions; scope of management includes monthly accounting closing of the transactions for the relevant areas of responsibility, in compliance with financial SOX controls.
• Deliver timely and accurate analysis of financial results and position for your areas of responsibility, including the preparation of a monthly financial reporting package comparing current period results and financial position to prior period comparatives and position, explaining key variations.
• Manage internal and external audits and reviews, as well as any ad-hoc regulatory or compliance requirements.
• Proactively identify of areas of risk in financial reporting, accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Use your experience and expertise to develop best practices in all areas of finance and accounting
• Provide expertise in creating systems and processes to adhere to US GAAP and Sox requirements
• Partner with operational leaders and corporate strategy team on annual budgeting.
Qualifications
WHAT ABOUT YOU? You have
• The ideal candidate should be a CA having a minimum of 4+ years' experience in an accounting or audit position in recognized multi-national organizations.
Big 4 experience in Audit, Accounting or Tax departments is preferred.
• Prior experience on Oracle Cloud financials is a strong advantage.
• Should have prior experience working in an accounting team with a US organization.
• Should have hands-on experience working with US GAAP.
• Strong attention to detail, hands-on approach and strong work ethic.
• Have strong technical knowledge & Passionate about accounting
