Department Operations: a. Assisting in compiling, reviewing, and analyzing all aspects of Accounting, including book closure and accounting development in SAP. b. Analyzing financial statement results and preparing performance variances between prior year (PY) and current year (CY) actuals, providing explanations on Profit and Loss (P/L) and Balance Sheet (B/S) accounts as per company policy. c. Posting Month End Adjustment entries with adequate support to ensure compliance with internal controls. d. Assisting in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and technical compliance with IND AS, Internal Controls, and company policy through review, verification, and analysis. e. Performing key account analysis and preparing account reconciliations. f. Identifying and contributing to the development of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of current activities. g. Month, quarter, and year-end closure activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements. h. Performing and analyzing special projects as assigned. Liaisoning: Compiles or assists in preparing schedules which analyze account activity on a quarterly and year-end basis as required, to meet the requirements of external auditors. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CA Inter. Experience: with minimum 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in manufacturing industry
