Job Title: Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing
Reports To: General Manager, Digital & Vertical Marketing
In this role, you will be responsible for developing innovative digital tools & solutions and drive content marketing objectives for key markets. You will work with marketing & product teams across divisions to identify customer unmet needs & develop digital solutions to drive thought leadership & engagement in the key vertical markets; with clear focus on driving incremental revenues for Thermo Fisher.
Role & Responsibilities
• Responsible for building a content plan and tactical calendar against campaign strategy and managing tactical deployment alongside of digital partners
• Build long-term product & technical roadmap for virtual experiences & initiatives like immersive technology, KOL engagement initiatives, etc.
• Active partnership with marketing teams & reaching out to customers to research needs, define business requirements, evaluate, develop & execute with plan
• In a highly matrixed environment, work closely with cross-divisional teams, global and regional stakeholders to deliver projects as per timelines and defined budgets
• Developing go-to-market plan for the initiatives and executing it with collaboration with digital marketing & other marketing leaders
• Training and educating the commercial teams to drive adoption of the tools
• Coordinate projects in a fast-paced environment with phenomenal attention to detail combined with a strong desire to support pipeline generation
• Utilize analytical tools to propose data-based recommendations to team for optimization against content marketing objectives
• Influence the evolution of existing content marketing campaigns and help develop recommendations for future high-impact programs to help reach its organizational and brand goals.
• Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Requirement:
Education & Experience levels:
• Bachelors degree in engineering/science required – Chemistry, Biotechnology, Mechanical, Physics
• Management education background preferred
• Should have experience of above 5 years and preferred minimum 1-3 years of work experience in digital marketing or products
Skills:
• Continuous improvement mindset, creative problem solver, with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent presentation, discussion, facilitation, and listening skills
• Experience in working with multinational teams within a matrix organization
• Hands-on attitude with a go-to mentality and a high degree of self-motivation
• Experience in digital products and solutions
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel
