Job description
Objective :
Drive Logistics & Warehouse activities for PAN India, While supporting the Sales system to maintain the delivery performance, Work on Projects on Cost optimizations, Drive Efficiencies as a continuous process.
Key Responsibility:
Third Party Logistics (3PL Management)
- Review KPIs & analyze defects
- Keeping a track on the Incoming goods to plan seamless movements
- Ensure the shipments are picked up on time
- Maintain 100 % accuracy in the inventory by conducting periodic checks
- Keep a Tab on Space utilization at the warehouse & work with planners.
- Ensure min +0% utilization off Vehicle to have efficiencies
- Liaison with New Vendors for Terms & Negotiation
- Handle an indirect team of warehouse Supervisors, Constantly guide them on SOPs
Transport Management
- Engage with Transporters for On schedule deliveries & Exception tracking
- Access the Cost to optimize the freight
- Ensure the Transporters are aware of the delivery process
- Drive Excellence
- Look for new creative avenues in freight optimization
Process
- Ensure any claims against 3PLs / transporter actively submit the bills in a timely manner.
- Ensure total control on the Bills to avoid provisioning
- Handle Transit other Insurance
- RCA for defects for future avoidance
- Returns Management
Job Requirements
Bachelors in any stream. MBA preferred.
Minimum 6-8 years of experience
SAP Knowledge
Contract management
Supplier Management
Supervisory Skills
Logistics (warehouse, transport, returns, claims) know how
Basic Knowledge of import / export
Project Management
Fluent in Local & English language
