We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Cash & Cheques team. The jobholder is to contribute towards meeting the strategic objectives of becoming one of the best foreign cash management banks in India. The jobholder needs to effectively manage third party service providers, who are based across the country. In addition, HSBC has correspondent banking arrangement with leading banks with different level of infrastructure and service levels in India which encompasses over locations. Timely lodgement of instruments with these banks/ Co-ordination / tracking and monitoring of receivables/ payables data from such many banks/branches is extremely challenging. Decentralisation of certain processing activities at our branches (to improve turnaround time) leads to further complexity in management of funding and data from such banks as well the need to support the area operations (i.e. the area officers) to achieve the desired level of accuracy and timeliness in processing the transactions.
