Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager - US Lease Admin, Record to Report
Provide support to the Leasing activity within Lease Administration, with direct focus on US-Lease and Real Estate Portfolio with scope of Canada/U. S regions.
In this role, you will be expected to work on strict deadlines, in a high-pressure business environment while being a standout colleague.
Prior Record to Report Operations experience in the Industry with driving transformation / projects experience / Robotic implementation experience will be preferred
Responsibilities
• Supervises team responsible for lease accounting activities including franchisee billings for CAM/TAX and landlord lease payments for the US market, while driving continuous improvement projects and operational metrics.
• Review & approve lease changes and general ledger account reconciliations, & complete ad hoc reporting.Also responsible for monthly closing processes pertaining to lease accounting functions.
• Reviewing processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all Sox and McDonald’s internal controls and participate in internal/external audits.
• Removes operational barriers and supports team in resolving accounting issues while cultivating strong customer relationships.
• Calculate franchisee rent adjustments as a result of changes in landlord lease terms.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
• Lease Accounting experience preferred (interpreting leases (Understanding the Lease for each of the Outlets assigned, need to understand the concept of lease, read, and interpret it).
• Accounting/Finance master’s degree required
• Proven relevant work experience

• Drives continuous improvement ideas and execution and enables a customer obsessed environment to achieve results.
• Strong communication skills along with Negotiation, conflict / dispute management & Analytical
• Proficient in MS Office applications
