Deloitte’s Workforce Strategy & Solutions (WSS) team collaborates across each of the Deloitte businesses to shape our broader future workforce strategy - including the design, development and implementation of ‘future of work’ strategies, human centered end-to-end workforce solutions, and strategic workforce planning initiatives. The team tackles the firm’s most critical workforce strategy opportunities through the design of innovative strategies and solutions that are propelling us into the future of work.
The role
As a Workforce Planning professional, you will support Deloitte’s highest priority cross-functional workforce planning initiatives. Your day consists of innovating, incubating, analyzing, designing and implementing workforce planning initiatives that drive business outcomes and optimize how we plan for the future. Initiatives will include designing and building varied data and process models/templates customized to meet the unique needs of specific cohorts, determining appropriate predictive criteria and measures reflective of varied roles and businesses, defining technical requirements to enable end-to-end workforce planning activities, and addressing adjacent Talent process impacts tied to workforce planning.
The work you’ll do
As a member of the WSS team deployed on the Workforce Planning COE, you’ll have the opportunity to make connections between the work you do and other workforce initiatives. On this team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our current workforce across the Deloitte US Firms, as well as help shape our workforce of the future. As a Workforce Planning Assistant Manager, you will operate as a trusted partner of our Business and Talent leaders, supporting the design of workforce planning solutions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Support the design and development of workforce planning solutions, using data and feedback to generate creative, advanced, and highly valued solutions
• Deliver key project tasks for end-to-end workforce solutions including gathering business requirements, researching workforce trends, analyzing data, and designing and implementing solution components; Own the completion of work products/deliverables, including conducting complex business analyses, where required, to support data-driven results
• Develop compelling, logically structured presentations and deliverables for Business and Talent leaders
• Maintain an understanding of market shifts and talent trends and how they impact our business and workforce needs, and adapt solutions accordingly
• Provide project management support
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
