Job Description
Architecture of Oracle Golden Gate.Configure and build Golden Gate Extract/Pump/replicate for multiple databases.Having experience on single directional and bi-directional GG setup and best practices.Configure error handling for GG process, logging, production support and status reporting in Golden Gate.Trouble shooting and performance tuning of Golden Gate replications.Implementing necessary monitoring scripts for Golden Gate in UNIX/PERL scriptingIdentify and produce documentation of best practices.
Job Requirements
4+ years of experience as Oracle DBAVery thorough and clear understanding of Oracle Database Architecture - including the latest version of Oracle.Experience in Database Migration using export/import, Data pump export/import, Golden Gate, RMAN, Incremental Transportable tablespace etc.Good hands-on experience in Oracle Database 11g, 12c,1+c installation, upgrade, cloning, patching, troubleshooting, backup and restore activities with configurations including RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, DG Broker.Provided daily backup and recovery services and data pump for company production databases.Provided Oracle DBA supports for company mission critical OLTP database including production database backup restore/refresh, troubleshooting, run time event investigation.Performed Hot/Cold backup Clone from production to staging, moved production databases from one server to another.Good hands on knowledge of OEM.Experience in troubleshooting various installation and patching issuesExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends.Ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues.Appetite to learn new technologies and constantly improve technical skills.Strong communications skills.
