ASSISTANT MANAGERS (Full-Time Seasonal Contract)
At Pedal Pub Toronto, we provide the highlight of someone’s summer. Our Pilots deliver the 5-star experiences, but they can’t do it alone.
We are hiring two Assistant Managers to lead, coach, and empower our crew of outgoing Pilots so they can focus on delivering incredible guest experiences every single time.
The Goal: Support and supervise our Pilots to help them earn better tips and more 5-star reviews while maintaining a safe, high-energy environment.
The Details: We offer flexible start dates to accommodate the right candidates, but we are generally looking for:
Role A: Starts April 22, 2026
Role B: Starts May 15, 2026
Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)
End Dates: August 31 to October 10 (depending on the role and your availability).
THE ROLE
You’ll work closely with our General Manager and Co-Owners to help run daily operations and support the Pilot team.
1. Team Leadership & Coaching
Recruit & Hire: Filter resumes and lead "road test" interviews to help hire strong Pilot candidates
Vibe Management: Plan staff socials and act as the first line of support for our Pilots
Active Coaching & Supervision: Monitor on-road performance to ensure Pilots are hitting our high standards. Provide real-time feedback to help the crew level up their hosting skills - directly leading to bigger tips and more 5-star reviews.
2. Operational Excellence
Tour Prep & Logistics: Manage ******* inventory, prep Pilot bins, and keep our fleet in tip-top shape.
Clerical Mastery: Handle booking reservations, Pilot scheduling, and guest communications.
Partner Relations: Check in with our bar partners regularly to ensure our stops are always welcoming.
3. The "Fixer"
On tour days, you’ll handle the logistics so the experience stays on track. You’ll manage check-ins, help with emergency maintenance, and, in rare cases, step in to lead a tour yourself if a Pilot can’t make it

THE NUMBERS & SCHEDULE
$1,040 per week
40-hour work week
Work days: Typically Friday–Sunday plus two additional days.
Two days off each week between Monday and Thursday
Weekend Flexibility: We know summer is short! Because we have a General Manager and two Assistant Managers, schedules are coordinated to give everyone some summer balance, including occasional full weekends off where possible.
REQUIREMENTS
Smart Serve Certified.
Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Clean criminal record.
Experience in hospitality, events, operations, or team leadership is an asset
