Job Title: Assistant Merchandiser

Salary: INR 25,000 p.m. to 40,000 p.m. (negotiable)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to manage supplier coordination, oversee production timelines, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality textile products. The role requires strong organizational skills, market awareness, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate with suppliers regarding fabric sourcing, pricing, and production timelines
* Monitor and manage production progress, proactively resolving issues to ensure on-time delivery
* Assist in the preparation, processing, and follow-up of purchase orders
* Maintain accurate records of samples, orders, invoices, and communications
* Respond to client inquiries, provide updates on order status, and address concerns professionally
* Track inventory levels and support stock allocation and replenishment planning
* Support sample development, ensuring adherence to quality standards and design specifications
* Collaborate with internal teams including design, production, and sales for smooth operations
Key Requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
* Proficiency in MS Excel and merchandising/ERP systems
* Effective time management with the ability to meet tight deadlines
* Strong analytical and numerical skills
* Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field
* 2–4 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or a similar role (preferably in home textiles or furnishing industry)
Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of textile materials, production processes, and quality standards
* Experience working with domestic and international suppliers
* Understanding of home furnishing trends and consumer preferences
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
